The best book in the world

 We have been learning about having conversations. To make a conversation really great we need to ask lots of questions.

I really liked using Book Creator to tell my story it was fun I really like taking photos of other people and including them in my work. Have you used Book Creator before?

The amazing story

 We have been learning to use descriptive language to make our characters come alive. They make our story more interesting for the audience. We also used a comic strip to help tell our story once we had finished writing it.

Writing the story was really fun I liked working with my friend to make my writing more interesting we came up with lots of really good descriptive words 

What do you think of my story did I do a good job of describing my character? Have you got any great tips as to how I could make my writing better? 

My amazing story

We have been learning to use descriptive language in our writing. This makes our stories more interesting for the reader. We also learned to tell our story using a comic strip. I used Pixton to create mine. 

 

I really like learning about using descriptive language to help tell my story. When my friends read it they thought it was much more interesting.

I am Vicki, I am a Manaiakalani facilitator in Ōtaki. I work with the teachers in Ōtaki School, Waitohu School and Ōtaki College.

I live in Paraparaumu, and I love to spend time with my dog Murray. We love to go to the beach and to go for walks.

My Scratch Project

Today we are going to use our collage characters we created last week to do some coding.

Today we have created a collage out of shapes and textures to create an image. We used the explore tool to search for images that we have permission to use.
